I know it is a strange name, but I think Tuffy was tired that day and he is the first baby that Rose, his mother, had. So, therefore, the name Rose's First. Kind of like having Sue for a name; he had to do good or he would have forever been shamed. In the show ring the year we bought him, he was the Reserve National Champion Weanling Stallion and it is easy to see why. And....he has not changed! Tuffy Action of Freedom Hills Farms did a great job of showing him for us; but, he had a lot of good horse flesh to work with. First has already produced some of the best babies we have had born here at Cherryville Farms. is babies are not only winning here in the United States but are now making a great showing overseas.
